Changing from Luxon to Kurzick and back again

Hi I chose Luxon, completed all the quests except charting the forests and finished the game.
Do I have to change to kurzick to complete the charting the forests quest. ?

If so after completing the quest how do I change back to Luxon again ?

Each time you change you gotta spend all your factions and earn some excess on the opposing side. That's all.

Don't have to spend all the faction, as long as you have more on the side you want to be, it's okay.

But it is smart to spend it all, as having faction on both sides when you cash out faction on one side, you lose on the other as well.

But to let you know I'm Luxon (Guild is) but I have completed all Kurzick quests as well, as I was amber farming and also wanted to complete 100% of the game.

All you need to do is farm some Luxon faction and get a reward with it (Jade) and the Luxons will like you again. Kurzicks will then stop talking to you.

you just have to remember when you are trading in faction that you lose what you might have with the other side. but it is easy to get back . i have 2 sets of 15k canthan 2 sets of lux 15k and 2 sets of kur 15k so its not really that hard to do the quests.
