Maxiemonster's -HUGE- Boon Prot guide!

Let's not pretend like Boon Prot isn't dead, it can't spike, and has alot of energy problems. Play Blessed Light or Zealous Benediction isntead, which are far better builds.

RIP, my old favorite build indeed.

A booner still works nicely in RA, but it's nothing compared to a ZB monk.

Still, i'm ready to resume my mad boonprotting if they buff some other elite skill.

(scribes insight, boon signet, PnH, Offering of Spirit, or maybe they will reunite monks with OoB!!) hehe. i can dream.

EDIT: comment on your main build there. I'm of the opinion that CoP isn't "all that". I used to run PS along with SoD. :P SoD is the best!

Maybe I'll give it a go again in RA with the new Factions skills. Shield and Dismiss would work soooo well with Boon, if only we had that back in the day...

OK well then what is a good build to run using only prophesies skills? Anything works in PvE, even this Boon Prot build, and you shouldn't PvP with only prophecies skills, because you're not good enough for it.

Can't help you much on this though, I haven't made a Prophecies only build since well... Prophecies.

In PvE, you could always use a WoH build with just Prophecies. Yes, very true, seems much more effective then Boon Prot ^^ I always forgot what elites come from what chapter, as I don't really need to think about this...

Of course, PS and SoD are also great skills. CoP would, of course, have been my next choice if i had a ninth skill slot :P

SoD > CoP no matter what.

And never would i leave home without SB or PS.

Shield of Absorption is much better than guardian imho too, but that's a new skill. Especially in RA, you gotta watch out with all the thumpers around.
