Sorry guys, I used search and stuff but could not find anything that was relevant to my question.
I'm a bit of a laptop noob and was just wondering if I could run GW and factions on my laptop.
AMD Sempron 3300+ Processor 1.8GHz
128 KB Cache
512 MB RAM *could do with a little more ram though huh?!
60 GB Hard Drive
DVD ReWriter MultiDrive
15.4" HD Widescreen Brightview Display
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
128 MB ATI X200 Shared Graphics
Any help appreciated!!!

More RAM deffinately wouldn't hurt matters, i'm not sure on the GPU though. Supposedly this site scans for system performance, and might give you some insight towards your question:

Thanks bud, the site says its gonna be no problem playing it, but I think I might still need some more ram.
Yet to install it on the laptop. Will try tonight.

Good luck, a matching stick of 512MB shouldn't be much, and would help alot. So if you feel as though you need it, splurge

I installed GW and it works! (not very well tho)
The site lies! OK so it is a ballpark kinda thing, but it's realy quite choppy and thats with everything right down.
I only have one slot for ram so my only option is upgrading to 1gb or 2gb. But after seeing how it runs now, I'm not sure its gonna make that much difference.
Thanks very much for the pointers though.

Sorry that it didn't work out for you. Sucks that the program doesn't work all that well, since most Futuremark stuff seems to be pretty good....
