Wood Spells

Well actually it's two separate questions

1. What good is wood? I've seen people trying to buy soooo much of it! And I went on wiki to check and there's not a single piece of armour that needs it. Tres confusing.

2. How do you cancel a spell? Other than desparately smashing back while casting a 3-second one, I wouldn't mind being able to abort an accidental two-second cast. Such as Shatter hex on an enemy... that shouldn't even be allowed

Alsooo, I was wondering, is there any place on this forum to form groups for quests, etc? With a bare two hours to play whenevr I do get on, spending one hour waiting for that one great healer in Thunderhead Keep has got to be the most awful way to tear your soul to pieces

... and then the healer starts asking for a second, nergh

1) Wood= Parchment for Monks and Necros, Also for Ranger armor. People also try to make money off selling parchment.
2) All you got to do is click back twice.

I do! I smash back like crazy as soon as I press the wrong spell icon, but he refuses to stop casting unless the spell is 3 secs long i.e that casting progress bar shows up

Escape should cancel it, by default keyboard setup.

Press f11 and you can change it.

The armor answer is on the chapter1 side.

Wood/Parchment is not near as needed on the chapter2 side.

You know if you cast a defensive spell on targetted enemy, you just cast it on yourself, and not on that target. So if you were to shatter hex an enemy, you would shatter hex yourself instead.

Ohh.. haha didn't know that. Though of course I wasn't hexed, but still

wood is also used for some collectors weapons in cantha..

15K Druids uses wood as well.

Also, the ESC key cancels a spell cast.
