Question on guild choosing a side...

Im currently the leader of our guild and we had some questions that we cannot find the answers to.
If I pledge the guilds allegience to, lets say Luxon. What does this decision do in terms of PvE? I know that if we choose Luxon, then that is the side were we would do alliance battles for and what not. But will people in the guild be able to do Kurzick missions? Get Kurzick Armors? Get Kurzick Faction at all? Does it lock us out of getting to Kurzick towns?

No, it does not lock you out.

On a player-side level, whichever clan you have more faction devoted to is what you favor. More kurzick than luxon? Kurzick npcs will talk to you, but luxon npcs will not.

Guild allegiance only relates to town control and the ability to enter alliance battles, nothing else.
