About every 5th or 6th time I start up Guild Wars I get the message, "Restoring Data Archive".
This takes about 10 minutes each time and after it is done it goes to my log in screen like normal.
Does anyone else get this? What does this mean?
Thank you.

I get that with about the same frequency. Normally after a game where my character started to randomly twist on his own axis while walking....
Safe way out is to start Guild Wars about 5 mins before you want to actually play. Sure beats reinstalling the whole game to fix the glitch
I once had all the monks turn into cubes of whiteness

I think it's probable that you've got some faulty memory there. If you want to check it, get DocMemory from www.simmtester.com. You need to make an account though (so just fudge something). It's a very worthwhile test.

Great. It is not just me.
I also occasionally get the white cube thing. It is usually not me though. It will be where ALL the NPC's are white cubes. It still shows their name and you can still talk to them, you just can't see them.
I will check out DocMemory. Thanks for the info.
