Sound ingame.

My sound gets really loud after a while, not sure if it is because I minimize alot, which I do. But it just gets really loud, it overshadows Ventrilo and Winamp.

Anyone else have this problem? Or should I stop minimizing so much?

i haven't had this problem with guildwars, but then again i never need to minimize when i can just maximize the window (but not full screen) and then do whatever on my second monitor. I used to play unreal tournament 2004, however, where this was not an option and when i brought it back up i would have all sounds stacked at once since i had minimized. My only suggestion would be to go to your options and lower the volume of the different types of sounds, and if this doesn't work, then yes, stop minimizing so much.
