Slayers Upgrades

I'm wondering how effective the slayers upgrades are in Cantha. I cone with a few unanswered questions. Maybe some of you have tested that and will be able to help me. Just check the list:

Giantslaying: effective against yetis?

Ogreslaying: this one is either a joke or yetis are considered as ogres - or I must be blind since I haven't seen any ogre so far...

Deathbane: I guess it's not effective against afflicted... has someone tried?

Dragonslaying: well.. this one is obvious. However does it work on Dragon Moss too? And if yes are pruning upgrades effective as well against them?

Pruning: are they effective against krins/dragon moss/etc. (ie: the nasty creatures found in the forest)?

Demonslaying: what is a demon exactly in Cantha? I guess afflicted are not - Onis maybe?

I have omited obvious mods, like dwarfslaying or tenguslaying. Please, don't post if you only guess what an upgrade is good against not to confuse everybody. But if someone who has tested some of those upgrades could help me, that would be more appreciated.
