Aside from Shing Jea Island, the only time I've gotten greens to drop is when I'm not trying. I've gotten 4 so far, in full hench teams doing random quests.

I notice that a lot of times there is a boss right outside a portal. So I get a war hench, and I SS. I target the first guy, let the war run in and get full aggro, then SS them all to death. Never a green. Some nice golds now and then, but never a green.

I've tried to clear anti-farm by mixing areas, doing missions/quests, etc. Doesn't work. I tried getting that necro boss outside Jade Quarry, maybe 40 times. No green.

Somehow this game knows when I'm trying to farm greens and doesn't let me. Anyone know whats going on?

It's called the unlucky sticky, 98% of the people playing Guildwars have it. You got to hold CRT and spin around 20 times clockwise and then it pops up in your inventory. Then you throw it away.

we'll I've had a bit more success lately, doing some of the solo builds posted here. But I think I've picked this up: before you start solo farming a boss, have your build locked in and something you know how to use. If it takes you 5 runs to get it right, anti farm might kick in before you get a successful run in. The builds that post a video are especially helpful, as they've utilized builds I've never used (such as the riposte/deadly riposte sword builds)

Is it true that the boss has to be wielding his weapon in order for him to drop it? Because I'm pretty sure I've gotten Milthuran's Staff while he was using his sword. In fact, I've always purposely got him to use his sword, since he wands you for ~60 dmg. O.O
