Assuming you have Factions:

Revenant = HP bonus
Minion Master = +5 Armor (When controlling 1 minion)
+5 Armor (When controlling 3 minions)

+5 Armor (When controlling 5 minions)

If you don't have factions (or just plan to use Drok only armor)

Bonelace. Bonelace is anti-piercing and it works very well against warriors.

You can also use fanatics, but fanatic is mostly for looks. It has a higher cost in materials, but gives teh same benefits as bonelace.

No matter what, get Blood Stained boots. Blood Stained boots speed up casting time by ¼, so it's very nice.

For MM I suggest scars for energy and Bloodstained Boots. I would not waste any energy for armor/health bonus.

For MM the best is IMO MM armour (what a suprise! :P ) - but boots absolutly MUST be Bloodstained. U can have only 10 minions max, so energy will be needed only for creating these. Later u must only keep them alive (of course if minion can live ), and that isn`t costing much energy (spamming BotM each 3 secs cost nearly same amount of energy as your regen, and rest energy from casting other spels u will have from Soul Reaping).

I`m using this armour to SS too (i haven`t got room for another set), without minions its giving me 60 armour (I have no problem with dying), just like the +energy type, so SSing can be much better with the energy armor (although MM armour is enough for it).

I don't use TOrmentors.. but I play the odds a bit.

Tormentors is 70AL, but has a -5 to light & holy damage (see guildwiki).

Since only monks do light/holy damage, you are injured more for smiting. Few monks smite, so Tormentors has the odds in your favor.

However, Revenant gives bonus to HP on all pieces. As such you get additional HP which means you can suffer from Degens for longer.

Stack your armor based on what you anticipate having to go up against.

I use +energy always, only change for bloodstained boots when MM

A tad more energy is always good, when MM you should have enough Minions to protect you, when doing something else you need the +energy more than a bit more armor, althoughthe +health one would be an alternative for me, sadly I love my 15K scars

For my MM im gonna get Luxon Cabalist (scars) everything and Blood stained boots. Seems the best compromise Imo incase i need to go somewhere that doesnt have corpses i can just go blood, and i find the way i play I always need mana.

i think tormentors dosnt have -AR vs light damage, read armor description

edit: i like +energy set with bloodstained boots, plus i have full tormentors/necrotic so i can change armors if i'm getting hit too much, i'm using +15/-1 energy items with tormentors so its ok.

I like Tormentors/Necrotic chest piece (70 armor always regardless of what you are using), normally Bone Lace for legs (I just don't like more than 5 Holy damage vulnerability), Cultists (Scar) Boots and Gloves (with another set of Bloodstained Boots of course). The MM armor is very limiting, you can't use it for anything else but minions. Hope this helps.
