Another Bad Rant

This part is funny, listen to Danika's build:
jameis gaze, sig devotion, breeze, touch, divine intervention, res chant, rez sig.

If they have an 8th skill then the AI is programmed too poorly to use it because I watched her in countless scenarios.

Tell me, when the programmers made this build, did you guys close your eyes and point randomly at a board with monk skills? That build shows absolutely no thought, no effort, and at the very least complete and utter stupidity.

Heres another funny story, ever notice there is always 1 person that never skips the stupid yet necessary cinemas just to add some kind of plot to the game. Well I play a MM and run aotl botm so I get up my 10 fiends and maintain them, I don't throw up new minions every fight. Anyone who plays a MM knows its not particularly easy to get up 10 fiends, 25 energy each, all while healing them in most situations. Then comes along the useless video 7 out of the 8 people in the group have seen 20 times and you get to watch 250 energy + countless more from healing die. Fix it.

I really like this game, its a blast, I'm just so sick of the half *** job the programmers are doing, what, the fact that there is no monthly fee makes you free from making your game player friendly.

I'm sorry, but your minions are not a bigger priority than people's enjoyment of the game. Too fscking bad if your minions die. Play with henchies or get over it, you seflish fool. I agree that minions shouldn't die during cutscenes, but the problem is not a fault of the player who wants to watch it.

Danika is probably the dumbest healing hench ever made. On that I will agree. As if the build wasn't bad enough, she'll run right up to 7 melee, stand there for 5 seconds, and die. For NO reason at all.

That's not as bad as when you haven't finished off all the enemy and someone doesn't skip the cutscene *laugh*

So your party stands around, listening to Togo or Gimli, and getting pummeled in the back by whatever is left alive. Then the cutscene ends and you are all at 1 health.

Seems like ti would be a good idea to freeze health and degen rates at the beginning of cutscenes.....but I must admit, I hate it when people assume that it's my responsibility to skip a scene. If I don't want to skip, I'm not going to. No ammount of screaming and whining by my teammates will change that.

Perhaps you should reevaluate your MM build if you're finiding it that hard to recover when someone who wants to and has the right to watch a cutscene. Or you can just play with henchmen when you're a MM, which isn't that hard most of the time.

Update May 20th:
Improved the skill set of Kurzick NPCs.

Stop railing on the programmers. They do A LOT of work, and still have to do deal with ungrateful people like you railing on them, when you have absolutely no decent argument to put against them.

What do you want ANet to do, make it so the 1 person that doesn't skip the cutscene not be able to watch it? ANet cares more about people gaining knowledge of the plot more than your fscking minions--and rightly so.

In defense of the OP, he didn't say anything to the effect that his minions are more important than someone's enjoyment of the game. He DID express his distaste for the cutscenes and he DID express some frustration for cases where 1 person doesn't skip causing the party to die/be at a disadvantage, but he did NOT say that the person who didn't skip was at fault. He said that the game programming was at fault. And he's right. No matter how much work it would take to fix it, or how much work the programmers have done to address other problems this issue is still just as broken as it was at day one.

Even though I disagree with the statement that the programmers are doing a half-ass job (probably a comment made out of frustration more than anything) that doesn't make him any less right.

"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

People like you represent everything that is wrong with the world.

I agree with the point that people don't skip scenes while is is as clear as day that minions are dropping one-by-one. I'm nt surprised at people's selfishness though, judging by what some people post on forums.

Something has to be done about the minions and bonders during cutscenes, I dont have any problems at all watching cutscenes, I hate the idea of having to rebond or heal the few minions left (depends on cutscene's length).

I'm sorry, but since all you're doing is ranting, and not actually suggesting anything, then this is closed.
