I'm actually at 99.1%, and I seek help in this noble quest that is the exploration of the whole continent of Cantha.

Shing Jea: 25, 24, 8, between 16 and 17, unnumbered spot just SE of ran masu town, 13, 23 (where the number is sitting, not where the circle is), between 20 and 21

That's the only zone I'm doing for two reasons...#1, those spots will be super easy for you to get and; #2, they are so obvious that it's clear you haven't used the alt-tab method with mine or livingston's or another 100% map on your own. Get the nine easy spots I listed above and you'll have about 0.4% left, so try the method out yourself and you'll be at 100% in short order.

I would recommend trying it while comparing your screen shots and Livingston's numbered map, paying attention to the spots I listed that you're missing in Shing Jea. This will let you see what to expect from a spot that you're lacking, and you can then carry that knowledge forward to the other areas and find many more spots (I compared other screens of yours but didn't list them here. As textbooks love to say, I'll leave it as an exercise). Thankfully, most of yours are reallllly obviously missing, so you should have no trouble using the method even if it's your first attempt at it.

Shing Jea: 13, 14, snowy mountain near Haigu Lagoon river source (there are two wavy black lines at this spot you need)

Kaineng: 7, 10, 14, 16, 17, 18, 1 (the western part of it)

Qinkai: 3, 4, 16, 17 (very western edge of it), ....

....

Then things just keep being obvious, so I suggest you alt-tab on your own and see the rest of the spots for yourself.

I'm currently at 99.7% of my map, and I was wondering if you could take a look at it to help me uncover the last 0.3%. I'm guessing there's still a spot left at the JQ, but since I can't get in there, there should be other small spots.

that should give you at lease 0.2% if not 0.3% IS is done, safe from your topic, which I'm not really sure on the instructions.

V Square should be fine, I wallhugged the Eastern wall twice yesterday, and looks the same as other maps (unless I forgot to update it on those maps)

Boreas is done, and I can't get any more from it.

Tried Drazach, didn't get anything.

Going to try the Raisu thing some more, think i got it now...

Just a couple things...first, your posted screens are taken from the world map and not the U minimap, so there are shadows and cloud cover which make things non-ideal. Second, you have just 98% AND have uncovered monastery (~0.7%) so I already know you're missing a ton of spots. You should first try finding them yourself, using the alt-tab method and Livingston's thread / numbered spots as key areas to look at.

There's definatly a bit at 10. Should look like this.

been running and running around.......got another few points....now at 99.3 going to mt qui tomorrow......though if I do all the spots posted and get .1 for each I will have like 103%.....will just do the easy ones.......and then see if I need to get those hard to reach places.....thanks Livingston!

Just a note, if you haven't got 100% yet and you are mainly using LuXa's method to find your own spots, this would be the reason that you are having trouble as it doesn't work nearly as well in Cantha as it does in Tyria.

Note to others: I don't have time to check your maps as I'm doing long, consecutive night shifts and thus I have zero spare time. I should be able to have a look at them the day after tomorrow. In the meantime read this thread and use Leighwyn's method to compare your maps to his 100% map, while checking my maps to see the most common missed spots.

Out of everyone that has posted their maps above and hasn't received an answer, I‘m confident enough to bet 5 platinum on the fact that at least some of the areas that you are missing will be circled on my maps, and more than likely the vast majority of them will be. I would also bet a platinum that if you have checked my maps already, you didn't check them well enough, and thus even though you have looked at those spots, you simply haven't looked closely enough to realize that they are indeed different, and thus you need to uncover more of that area.

I guarantee it.

So keep checking until you find one you have missed and use that as your baseline to notice others that you have missed.

As for the 5 platinum, if you are confident enough that you have checked my maps against yours and that you have uncovered everything that my maps have pointed out and you still aren’t at 100%, I will indeed give you five platinum if it is true. If you proclaim that you have and I prove you wrong, you owe me five platinum. If I think that you are wrong I will post comparison screen shots to show where the differences are. If you still can’t see the differences after I post them, I will leave it to Leighwyn to make the final judgment, should he accept the duty, as he knows all the spots as well, if not better than I do.

If you aren’t confident enough to do this, then I suggest you go back and start rechecking.

LuXa'a is excellent. It's the only reason I got my last 0.3%. Some of my frends haven't had as much luck with it. I think it's just a matter weather your able to see the distortions or not.

And then when you're done with that, also play Aurios Mines, Amatz Basin, and Zos Shivros Channel

After 5 days of trying unsuccessfully to get into Jade Quarry I finally decided to recruit people in other towns.

I am surprized to say that it didnt take very long at all.
I went to Fort Aspenwood ( both Kurz and Lux sides) HzH, Cavalon Arborstone Altrumm Ruins and the top 5 Districts of KC. I only spammed my message once in each location - I just asked if there were any people looking to Explore Jade Quarry for the Canthan Cartographers tilte. I had expected people to PM me - I only got one responce, but decided to go sit in Jade Quarry and sure enough -where there had never been more than 5 or 6 people in the past 5 days in just a few minutes we had 12 - 15 on each side.

If anyone tries this I guess I suggest you that add a request that people head over there now to group up.

It was real odd tho - even though we had more than enough people all pressing enter battle it still took a long time and we kept getting the resart message.

But - we got in and then switched sides to get the full map -again even though we had more than enough people - we still got the restart message many times befoore we got in.

Im sorry to say that no one in my group could squeeze more than .4% out of this mission.

So I am at 99.8%

I only looked at your zoomed-out map...saw some spots on shing jea (the famous snowy mountain, some lagoon water spots), north rhea's crater, a town on the west edge of kurzick that didnt look to be entered yet, a spot in mourning veil falls, NE banishment stuff (i think? I looked at it like 10 minutes ago), part of the very west edge of jade docks hangout, and of course jade quarry. I'm not gonna look up all the numbers for these spots, but giving you the areas should let you better check for yourself and see.

Nightfall is fast approaching though. The kurzick side of the map is just so annoying to look at and try to compare to other maps.

Im at 98.5%. I know that is a lot to ask you guys to help me find, but I am just not sure where to look anymore. I think I need some fresh eyeballs.

MAPS EDITED OUT! They weren't cutting edge you know...

There we are, I hope that is enough data. There are a few things that I see I need. This one part of Unwaking Waters is ticking me off! I have no idea how to map it, near the Kurzick side. There is a part that I have seen unfogged on other maps, but can't seem to reach.

Shiro won't banish me when I go with henchies, but I WILL get the rest of that banishment area!

What else am I missing?

First off, please edit your post and take out that picture. It's too big and thus warps the thread, breaking this board's screen shot posting rules.
