ohh, thanks. I misunderstood this update badly.(thought they mean tyrian char under "foreign")

Special Thanks to u guys asking stuff here, helped me a bit for my own map
and to Theos, took the time to photoshop the thing for the last %

due to the new update, i managed to get the final 0.2% w/o exploring Shiro's map, a spot on Shing jea and in Jade Quarry

From what ive seen the Arena is worth 0.4% !!

Can one of you guys post a 100% zoomed out map of cantha? with the resolution of 1024x768 ?

it'll be greatly appreciated! i'm on 99% and going to use the difference mode on photoshop to find my last remaining 1%

Though I got my 100% in the oddest manner possible... I left at 99.9% came back it was a 100%... my expression was priceless and of utter confusion XD

Hey guys, I'm at 98.7 and driving myself crazy. The old photoshop difference layers trick doesn't seem to work as well as it did in Tyria. Can one of you 100%ers go over my map for me and point out what I'm missing?
Here's my map. Sorry it's large, but I thought that it'd be helpful to have as much clarity as possible.

I went through this thread pretty thoroughly and didn't catch anything about this. If I missed it, I apologize.

Do Tyria starters and Cantha starters have different requirements for the 100% map completion?

I'm at 98.8% and humped every wall in every area I could think of.

The one map I've been comparing mine to http://www.directupload.net/images/060509/2m92txGZ.jpg

The only real difference I can see at this point is the part of the Monastary Overlook that you would have to do the pointless tutorial in order to map out. So I'm wondering if Cantha starters are required to get that piece.

Use one of the maps created using a Tyrian character instead of the one you linked to, which was made by a Canthan. Yes, it is a 100% map, but it is missing things that Tyrians traditionally (maybe after being granted arena access things are different) cannot miss and still achieve 100%. Thus, their maps will be more complete. As far as different requirements, my best guess would be no. You're probably just missing tiny areas of fog throughout.

The point is that my character is a Cantha starter, but missed that part because I skipped the tutorial. I figure I should be comparing it to the map of another Cantha starter.
