Shreader Sharptongue and friends

Anyone run into the vermin? Y'know, those lvl 18 mobs that stack like 8 degen on you? They drop some pretty pissy loot, but you can atleast farm gold off em (approx 2p a run).

First the build;
Sprint
Tiger stance (or some frenzy variant)
Sun and Moon slash
100 blades (yeh, go get prophesies u factions only lewsarz~)
Dolyak sig
Bionetti's Def
Vig spirit
Live vicariously


1. Leave via Senji's corner (northwest exit)
2. Keep to the west, and just kill all the vermin in the darker area on the map.

The build works if you cast live vic before the fight, run in, 100 blades the crowd of them, dolyak, vig spirit, yaddada if you cant figure it out then go farm trolls.

Build is relative to Warrior because of dolyak signet, oh dear... must be same as party support (has monk skills) and must be a ritualist because i found another thread regarding vermin but killing them with ritualist...

So yea, this thread is useless because its for Ri/Mo/W (the dreaded three class combination that noone can ever get! because of evil Anet nerf).

anyways nubs. I get about 70k a day from just screwwing around in there and I fought with myself when deciding whether or not to share this. Anyways, guess Imma just come here to steal your secrets.

Nice work Faebaul. I've been doing this for a while and found this build to work well. I use 100 al armor, Have 13 strength, 16 Tacts, and 9 Sword. Heal Sig, Dolyak, Glads Defense, Deadly Riposte, Riposte, I Will Survive, and the other 2 are just fillers imo. So this can be done with W/X only. As for Salt Sprays, 55 ftw

Its axe based so offers an alternative.

It's a pretty simple setup with desired effects.
Cast Mending then wait for energy and cast Live Vicariously run like a Leeroy straight into the vermin, Doylak Signet then Warriors endurance, Cyclone Axe Dismember, Penetrating Blow..keep repeating process while keeping an eye on doylak's. It's good for energy management and halfway good for damage. Helps if you got a good shield. I just use a Bulwark as I'm using stances with strength.
For Ghial same process but have to be more cautious about energy management. So theres 2 Bosses for you in the same area, I would take a screenshot of the route I take but I'm too lazy.

I've tried this with a few different builds (SoJ, Glads etc) but I find the following the fastest... Merch->Kill all->Merch = 4.5 mins = 2p, making almost as good as the old griffon run (3.5mins = 2p).

Use of the skills is pretty obvious appart from balanced stance... When you are gathering the groups together, if you don't have this, they will used knock downs which prevent you from getting them all at once.

Kill them in 3 bunches
1) The 4 groups that surround the square
2) The boss and all his cronies (5-6 groups) just over the bridge
3) The 3 groups in the square to the north.
Its important to agro all the monsters in a "bunch" before hitting dolyaks because if you wait for them to patrol into you, it will seriously hamper your kill speed.

With a zealous axe, each cyclone and tripple chop will give you 200-300hp and 15-20 energy, so you should be in no danger of running out of any. The 3 adrenaline skills are to kill the boss at the same speed as the others, but they can be used in the non boss groups too (cyclone, Exec, tab, pene, tab, pene, tab, cyclone, Exec, etc)

I did the run with 100 blade but honestly find triple chop+cyclone more to my liking on vermin farming

you just have to use Gladiators defence [E]
deals around 30 damage, and you wont get hit by attacks
and with cyclone axe, they dead in a sec

umm glads + silver armor pwns everything... there

Got the green drop about 10 times, got 5 sets of Shreader's Talons now.

It works pretty good. Believe it or not, you really don't need Mending, LV and Vigorous works just fine. Lotsa runs, real quick runs, too. It works.

I use:

Balthazar's spirit

Energy is never an issue (always maxed), and you just spam triple chop and cyclone to heal. The other 2 attack skills bring down the Assassin boss faster, and I will survive is for a health boost while dolak is down, since you will have at least 2 conditions on you at all times. I use a shield that is +45 while enchanted and an axe that has +20% longer enchantment and/or health mod.
