I never used Savage Slash to begin with. If interuptions were important I either used Distracting Blow, ot tried my luck with Disrupting Chop.

I liked it the old way. I don't get why the recharge on it is so long, compared to Savage Shot anyway, and when Distracting Blow has AoE. 10e and you may was well run skull crack...

I almost get the feeling ANet did this to mess up 55 monks farming avicaras. Because now the activation time of salvage slash is lower and it will interrupt monks trying to cast easily (or to reduce their energy). And with the avicara braves always using flourish, energy cost and recharge time really isn't a big issue.

I completely agree with the previous post. And also give n/mo soloers a pain in the ass for UW. Monks less, because they can go /me for mantra of resolve etc etc. Toob bad, since i made my necro a month before that

10 energy, 20 energy cost... I'd rather bring Power Leak since I could use it from anywhere, not restricted by blind, wards, attack speed debuffs... or a 5 energy shock and knock them down for a period of time in the process.

I never did... There are other sword skills I'd rather use if I went for damage, and Distracting Blow is so much better for disrupting.

But then again, I run a warrior/assassin dagger'N'Flourish build; I don't use swords at the moment. However, I use Disrupting Stab for my lead attack and I hardly disrupt anything... Of course, when I hit a monk's main healing spell -> ahh, goodness.
