We need a humoungous dps that can be considered a prolonged spike. [oxymoron anyone? lol]
Since Way of the Empty Palm allows free Off-hand+Dual Attacks, we need the fastest recharging attacks to make it count.
What's that lead to?
We can use the energy heavy hexes and spells to keep damage at a great high and if we still need energy, you can modifiy the build accordingly.

Ok, so we lose out on teleporting, you can rearrange as needed to squeeze in your precious teleports if needed but for each gain, there's a loss right?
As you can see, half of your skill bar will need no energy as long as you don't get shattered enchantment. The elite lasts long enough to have a downtime of 14s. so it's not glaring, but it's not exactly repetitive/redundant. MAKE your dps burst count!
The situation is win-win in that you have a good repetitive snare and you'll never be blocked for a good 8 seconds. [wait 2 more seconds to do Expose again] Of course, if someone stuffs your repeating strike, the whole build is down the toilet. [then again, in any assassin build, if one attack is dead, usually the whole attack stream dies.]
If the enemy didn't bring any anti-melee hate, like anti-caster only mesmers, heh heh, then you won't have to cast Expose Defenses and blam, you've got them right where you want them!
Running Impale can lead to a spike if needed, but that's just at your discretion.
But the idea is machinegun for 0energy.
Any idea on how to make this last longer?
