well, i'll be selling off these shields (and some other stuff) when I can figure out fair prices for them.
When I put some established shield traders (most of whom post on Guru regularly) on the spot in-game, the consensus seemed to be around 200k for the aegis. I acquired the ornate only recently, so I haven't bugged anyone about it yet.
What do you guys think of that price for the exalted? Too high? Too low?
And what you you think about the value of ornate shields in general relative to comparable shields with other skins? They're uniquely shaped and have a nice design, but don't dye very well, are hard to match to armor, and are made of wood on the inside (which I know turns some people off).

i did try and post this earlier but the site went down. der guru sold a +30hp -2 enchant r8/9 one for a buyout of 250k. stance is more desirable than enchant so i would imagine a perf stance one could sell for alot more. 250k puts it at about what a same stat tall one could sell for although i have seen some +30 hp -2enchant talls sell for 200k ish. whatever price i give would be a guess as i have yet to see a similar one sell. prophecies skins with similar stat sell for under 100k but i think as this is new and looks imo really nice should go above 100k. how far above i cannot say as i have yet to see one sell.
the exalted skin from what i have gathered is highly desirable. the req is a little too high for some people liking. personally with me r11 is fine. i bought a 45-2 tall r11 a few days ago for 100k but that MAY have included a guildie discount. at the moment in terms of desirability exalted is alot more desirable than tall shields. so i think 200k is fine for the shield.
