Not sure where to put this, but I do know that on occassion GM's visit or are a part of this forum so, here goes:

First of all, I understand the concept or reason why you at arena a.k.a NCSoft keep nerfing everything under the sun. What I am really pissed off about is this. I am an avid 55'er (InvinciMonk), I used to 55 the desert and various other places untill recently they were nerf'd not only for the NEW BREED of mobs but for those F*** up botters that screw everyting up for everyone.Then we were forced to move to those sorry A** trolls outside of droks. Now, don't get me wrong drops were ok after seeding ur character and everything was great, But as of the New build from yesterday it seems, once again you have screwed up the economy for us. I have done over 100 runs today. and recived the following. I net'd 10 k gp, got 2 frikkin chests, no gold drops what-so-ever. I also recieved TWO purples. Now .. I ask you, how do u expect people to keep playing this game if you @ NC or Arena Keep screwin crap up for us??? I have 4 copies of the game because I love this game but you make it VERY hard to stay in tune with it. If your attacking the bot issue then watch the international accounts because most of them are international. Nerf thier crap or ban them but why make everyone suffer. I think it's damn rediculas to use the " MASS PUNISHMENT" theory.. for one.. it doesn't work it only PISSES PEOPLE OFF. I've had enough of the nerfing go screw up something else. .....

Even if you actually expected ArenaNet to change this up, I doubt they would do it to an unpenetratable wall of text.

I have done over 100 runs today and recived the following: 10k Gold, two chests, no gold drops what-so-ever. I also recieved two purples. Now, I ask you, how do you expect people to keep playing this game if you developers Keep changing mechanics up for us players?

I have 4 copies of the game because I love this game, but you make it very hard to stay in tune with it. If you want to continue attacking the bot issue, then watch the international districts because most of the botters rest there in international. Nerf their drops or ban them but keep it so that not everyone has to suffer. I think it's damn rediculouss to use the "mass punishment" theory. I feel that it doesn't work, as it only frustrates people. I've had enough of the nerfing, try to keep it clean.

I'm bored, so I've taken the courtesy to split up this post for you, edit some of it, and change up some of the wording. Nothing against your english skills, but I have an exam coming up and I want to practice as much as I can.

I Completly agree with Eolithic Monk, I've been very upset with how Anet punishes everyone because of botters. Insted of banning botters accounts and actually making an effort to stop it they just nerf the farming place.. then the botters just find something else to farm. ban the botters and stop screwing up my and my guilds fun by nerfing everyone.

Ban the Botters, and Leave the people that farm legit alone.

I would not say I an truely upset with anet, I am more upset with the fact that people have nothing better to do than farm a spot 100x and expect to get good results. Sure one would think that but spots farmed endlessly seem to drop less and less. Half of this is due to botters the other half is due to people wanting to get something better for themselves but dont stop when they do.. its called greed... If anet wanted to I am sure they could put in a certain protocal that boots someone who farms a certain spot more than say 20 times then not allow that account to be accessed for atleast 5-10 minutes. this I belive would up the drop rate for the casuel farmer because you wouldnt have 'joe blow' farming ettins/trolls/mino what have yah endlessly thus increasing the drop rate. this might work, only way is to try it out.

I CANT understand why cant anet be arsed to implement anti-bot measures.. everyone played diablo2 online would know how strict blizzard are..and gw seems very much easier to control imo.. at least Ive not seen the thousands of hacks u can use for diablo..

its just a cant-be-arsed attitude on anets behalf imho..

btw, I can only recommend you find new farm spots ^^. it does add a lot to the fun

Uh... I believe ANet just banned a whole fistful of bots. A thousand of 'em or thereabouts. But seriously, if you're depending so much on one single spot to farm, and that spot gets nerfed to try to quell the botters, it's just as much your own fault as anyone else's. Solution's simple, folks: find more than one farming ground. There are at least three other places in the desert that I can think of offhand that are easy to farm with a 55. If you can't adjust your build or find a new farming area, then that's your own fault, now, isn't it?

It's not compulsiveness I just enjoy 55'n, be it U.W, Trolls , or where ever I choose. seeding is the key to farming, let me give you a hint as to what I mean. Farm a few trolls runs.. catch a mission or two for about an hour.. then go back to those lovely trolls. which worked GREAT for me untill.. OMG yesterday with the update. HENCE, ARENA is at it again F----ng it up for everyone, or should I say..ARENA dot net and the lovely merchants who sell gold for real money on thier web sites or perhaps EBAY ..hmmmm theres a start.. go file a law suit on ebay OMG what a thought. take your anger out on them.. n ot the people who support thier a---s.

He could have meant that he had tried 100 runs throughout tyria.
i.e. Trolls, then Minotaurs, then Griffons, then Undead.

I like 55ing too, and well, It's like the armor issue. Nerf everything, fix .00000000000001%...

I really don't have anything against A-net, It just kinda gets on my nerves.

So I find extremly creepy places to solo.

The only reason you keep playing the game is to farm? Wow...

And, not even going into detail about the anti-Farming code, but maybe they keep doing this cause it's called Guild Wars, not Farm Wars.

I know, call me crazy... how can I say such insane blasphemy? The world may never know...

Well, I can imagine the mindset of the common farmer.

1. The money makes you feel like you could buy anything.
2. The missions can get boring after you've done them 4+ times.
3. PvE just gets boring, and the groups frustrates the player.
4. PvP doesn't interest the player.

And most importantly,

Games are meant for entertainment.

If a person feels that increasing the amount of gold and items that they have is fun and entertaining, why take it away? Why have a something that's doable in the game and not allow it to happen anymore?

Once again, that's just what I imagine what a common farmer thinks. The points are not necessarily of my beliefs.
