Hi. I was getting power leveld today (well...after 7 chars going through prophecies campain it gets boring

) and something weird happend. My 55 monk got his enchants stripped from him. I told him "c'mon man dont make excuses just because you cant do it". Then he sent me and email with the pic of the second time it happend. It had 100- strip enchants on the screen....WTF?? It wasnt photoshoped either it was real. I accidentaly deleted the email sorry, but has this ever happend to you?

There are no mesmer or necro monsters in the trolls cave for people that dont know.

Nuff said.

The only thing I could think would be Avicaras, and they aren't in the cave..could you show the screenshot though?

Sorry i didnt even think about posting here until after i deleted the email. We were in the heart of the cave with no avicara...weird no?

Stone summit mesmer hiding in caves (sometimes), anti-farming bot system activated during that time or a strange bug. Can you tell to that guy to email it to you so we can see?

hapened to me as well in UW

was 55ing ataaxes
no dying nitmare around for SURE
casting prot spirit+heal breese combo
dying in 3 secs after i casted.

*note that since i dont do dmg i dont even let prot spirit blink, forget runing out!

happened twice... wierd

You could have just missed the nightmare, as they generally die while casting rend enchants.

I've farmed a lot in a variety of places and never experienced random enchantment removal - I don't have a clue what that could be.

Hmm...i farm there with my W/mo with enchantments never haver had them striped and i farm around 5k a day there to keep my funds up.
like the others have said i would like to see a screen shot

impossible i misse it because:

they do a special sound when they appear, even if its far from your location
they also appear on mini compas as an additional red dot. i started with 3 ataaxes, and finished with 3 ataaxes
i was doin the run with a guildie SS. he confirms that there were no signs ANTWHERE of a nitmare before and after i died

its not like they became invisible and undetectable.

Stop being an ass...the OP at worse wasn't paying attention/had a graphic glitch and was killed by a mez/necro.

Undieing Nightmares in UW can aggro over a mountain, kill you then turn into gray dots on gray groud instantly so you have to search your minimap sometimes to find it. I've also had random glitches where things far away hit me. The OP had a forseeable experience. If you guys don't believe him, fine, but there is no reason to be insulting.

Heh, i dont really care if you belive me, i have better things to do than make up stories and put them up here. It happend i saw the email (ill ask him to send me another when he gets on) and thats that. Be an ass idc im just asking if it has ever happend to you. Hi there

Just wanted to confirm that what u experienced is not a one-off.

A few times while in UW everything was going smoothly, no dying nightmares around, nothing else around that can strip enchant etc, i'm doing really well and then suddenly all my enchants go and BOOM, I'm dead!

It has only happened three times in the course of my time playing GW. I just call it "Grenth's Vengeance"

Obviously the Death God likes it when I die!

I assure you it's a DN...you just didn't see it. I've died without seeing or hearing it and only noticed because I took the 10min to search the minidar.

i too have had random run ins with this occurance once in awhile, can be quite the annoyance
