Semi-Finals Guild Wars coverage on Amped

The Semi-Final round of the GWFC Season 2 playoffs are in the books, and so is my follow-up article! I take a detailed look at the two matches played today.

Still reeling off the wake-up call that saw The Last Pride eliminated in the first round of playoffs, the Guild Wars community had taking solace in the notion that War Machine could still be counted upon to go the distance. They awoke from their week-long playoff break the unquestionable playoff favorites, picked by most to take their match with Irresistible Blokes in two games, perhaps without even breaking a sweat. They were right about one thing, it only took two games, but the predictions fell flat from that point on. For the first time in the history of professional Guild Wars, a Korean team is missing from a playoff final. What happens next is anyone’s guess."

The builds WM used didnt seem very cohesive or strong compared to what they ran against IQ at the GWWC. Actually i had to do a double take with what they brought to the final round against The Last Pride. It was kinda obvious that it wasnt very well rounded when they just folded to the necro spike setup in round 2. Running away from your opponent for 30 mins doesnt seem like a good strategy either.

They could just be experiementing, or not taking it seriously, since money isnt involved.

Losing at this season is not much important with both EvIL and WM because there are 3 seasons, and I can be sure that both of them will go to GWFC as Korean top guilds.
