Mirrored Stance - Doesn't work?

The thing is, i tried to use mirrored stance on mobs that use stances, but those skills are not class specified, such as Shiro's and Glint's stances.


And it doesn't work, it just doesnt copy the stance. Anyone know why? I think that it should work against all foes, not only normal mobs and players.

Obviously you can't mirror a monster only skill.

Thats okay with glint. But Shiro was a human in the last mission. And his skills wasn't beast at all. Perhaps you could explain that?

Shiro also uses "monster only" skills ( reconized by the icon: evil black face with red eyes and mouth ). Mirror Stance will only copy stances that are listed at the skilltrader ( and ofcourse the elite stances ).

Notice, Glint's skill is taken as monster only skill, and battle scars shiro's stance isn't.

So it isn't true that Shiro's skills are monster only. That's illogical, Shiro became human so he can't be a monster (at least literally) at the same time.

Its already been answered, you can only mirror stances that a PLAYER can use.

Just because they didn't add the same skill icon on all skills doesn't mean they meant for you to use them.

Anet knows Shiro's stance is pretty powerful and it's most likely intentional that you can't copy it.
It's still a monster-only skill and saying Shiro is a human and not a monster is stupid point; Stone Summit Beastmasters are big bears and not monsters but they still use Stomp.

If you can copy any of the warrior, ranger, mesmer, assassin or ritualist stances, Mirrored Stance is working exactly as it is surposed to.

Little off topic here but I just want to note that it will copy the effectiveness of the stance aswell. So if a ranger uses a level 16 escape to run from you, you gain a level 16 escape to chase him down.

Put SS and Insidious Parasite on him and spam Wild Blow at him and it's GG Shiro.

or get a mm with celestial minions and a war with his celestial skill and its also gg

don't forgot empathy reckless haste and price of failure lol

I used that but our whole team was freaking and panicking and running because it was their first time
