You can do this with the classic Auspicious Riposte build. Only lose health from Song of the Mists, and you natrually regen it. Thanks a bunch for bringing attention to the boss, though.

First run, I just ran past both patrols. Luckily, the second one was pretty far up. He wandered off to where the second patrol had been, and I killed him. He didn't drop, though. Second time, I ran past the first patrol and killed him without the bodyguards spawning. Got the daggers (yay!) Doing it more now, and I'm definately not getting as much success. The Elementalists in the patrol chase me, and I don't have enough space to run. Therefore, I'm doing it your way and waiting. However, when I wait in the corner (I'm assuming the one near the blue spirit orb with Onata), the bodyguards eventually aggro me, since they're right on the border of my aggro circle. And it takes forever for the second patrol to pass. I also tried not waiting for the second patrol to pass, and just attacking him. Then the second patrol comes and gets me, and the first patrol returns. Makes a big mess. I'm going to try a few more times, but I'm glad I just got the daggers.

I advice everyone not to use Storm Of Swords. Thats AoE, he runs away, he maybe will get healed (if rit or monks there) adn will bring back an aggro.

yeah, the auspicious parry/ripostes build works for every assn boss. Works with this guy too. The real trick is finding where you can pull the boss and not have the last patrol come by. Killing him fast helps too for this reason.

And yeah.......the storm of blades thing.....bad idea!

now I just need to get that drop
