The second season playoffs have come to a close, and a champion has been declared! Check out the complete match recaps along with a post-game interview with Elendar from Esoteric Warriors on Amped eSports.

A Snippet:
"In their quest for the crown in these playoffs, Esoteric Warriors have been a spike-reliant team, but they’ve been able to consistently keep their opponents off-balance throughout, something most spike teams have yet to pull off in a tournament setting. By utilizing rather divergent skill sets in order to formulate their builds, they’ve proven themselves a team difficult to prepare for, as seen today by their long-time rival, Irresistible Blokes. Going the full three games, this series sported rather lopsided victories in each game, a first for these playoffs wherein two teams went to a final deciding match-up. Historically, two teams as well-matched as these have provided some of the most memorable battles ever seen, but this time the story can be expressed rather simply: complete map dominance."

Nice article.

IMO EW and iB tried to make a point during this seasons playoffs and finals. I hope that the Anet crew got the message, if not I`m really sorry.

Stop this game from becoming crap!!!

Thanks for the feedback guys :-) I'm glad people are responding positively to eSports coverage about Guild Wars, I feel like it's long overdue! This game deserves a lot more attention, especially from a competitive aspect.
