Armor Trade

Where is the armor trade thing people was talking about when factions came out?

I heard people talking about they was gonna have a thing where you can trade your current armor out for some other armor.

Your supposed to be able to bring your armor up to Factions stats but it has yet to be implemented.

Ya see, I spent like 100k+ on my 15k platemail including all black dye. And then they changed it to 90. Pissed me off.

i salvaged my 15k plate got tired of w8ting so i got the 1.5k in K-center...

I love platemail, its like best lookin armor, but thats just my opinion.

But I wish Anet would do what they said. :/

i throught i herd some thing bout trading armor in but i just got the 15k dragon armor what when dyed pink like mine looks so HOT!!!
and u can get the 100 armor sentinals grrrr

ok from what i have heard..not seen..100 armor sentinals is at the house of zu heltzer. kur side i believe (thank god i am kur lol if they dont offer it to luz).

and i dont believe that they will ever add an armor upgrader. so buy what you like the most. and personally i dont have any problems execpt that i have yet to see any monk tats in factions.

well... it's true that there is sentinels armor that has 100AP. Yet, it'll require you to have 13 strength --- on your character for it to be 100 at all times.

It doesn't have any other special addition to it --- such as energy addition and {+20vs physical attack} gladiator armor has. Not worth it IMO.

true but then again strength is a wars primary and personally i always try to have 13 pints in mny chars primary at all times. on my necro doesnt - 9 sr

and that 100 armor goes against every attack instead of a specified dmg.

Well here is what they said in Update - Wednesday, April 26, 2006 :

Armor Changes
New armor designs from Cantha have begun to influence armor crafters in Tyria. Existing armor sets will not be updated yet, but a means to upgrade existing level-20 armor for free will be provided in the near future.

So unless they want to break their word (and make a LOT of players sad + angry) I hope they will sooner or later make these upgrades available.

Why it takes them so long is a complete mystery to me, especially since this really isn't a big deal! Should be easy to make this update in a couple of miutes really!

Sentinel stats with 100AL armor is available at Kaineng center and ever major town after that.
So you can get it at HzH, Cavalon, Vasberg Armory, Leviathan Pits, Devine path and Kaineng Center.

Its a stats not look.

While you are right about it having 100 AL armor.
You are wrong about it not being worthy.
I got the armor last week (15k Canthan look) and that thing is amazing. Damage is so reduced with it.
The one draw back is the energy, I'm using to gladiator with 28 energy and that extra 8 energy is worth it. If you otherwise use other armors and do not have the energy bonus then Sentinal is FTW

this proves you are not qualified to make even the most basic judgement on the issue.

Then maybe you should be working for anet... You don't realize how hard it is to do these kind of things. Clearly you haven't programmed before.
