Make GvG 12v12

By now you should all be aware of the bug allowing people to get 12 people on their team for GvG. Now to me it looks like the eaisest way for ANET to fix it would be to allow GvG's to have 12 a side instead of 8 as it currently is (just change the max party size in the hall). Though this would drastically alter the metagame for GvG (eg. split squad spike teams could become viable) but as we are between ladders, and the ladder shouldn't restart till this bug is squashed, this won't be too bad.

Since we have the 12v12 alliance battles, I'm sure that ANET's servers can handle it. However it would make forming groups for GvGing harder to do for the smaller guilds, and the ladder guilds will need to recruit a few more people.

I'm just throwing this idea out to see what people think of it, personally I'm undecided on if its a good idea.

Awful idea. I suspect most top guilds are built around having only eight players in. While XoO may be able to take it easily enough, you'll find that a lot of top guilds just wouldn't have the playing numbers to instantly be able to shift to 12 player GvG. If anything reducing it to 6v6 would do more to revitalise GvG.

No tbh i think that if it was kept at the current 8v8 its fine as it is. It's the only thing that doesn't really need changing. 6v6 is too small and 12v12 is too big but 8v8 is the perfect number as that's usually what the average guild can get easily.

Leave rated GvG as 8 vs 8.

Although I have no problem with allowing 12 vs 12 unrated or scrimmage.

The main XoO guilds might be able to adjust quickly, but the ladder squads won't be able to.

But the main reason why this keeps seeming a bad idea is that I keep thinking of split squad, but each of the 6 man teams is a fully capable spike team.
