Point in holding towns?

What will be the point in holding towns when Anet makes elite missions public?

They still have discount merchants and fireworkers.

Does the discount go to dyes, material, scroll traders etc. if you hold HzH or Cavalon?

Discounts not worth the effort to farm faction for them though...

It will be worth it if they give discounts on materiels.

also your guild would be more known by ppl...

how much discount do you get for holding down??

Why not just trade that faction you would be donating to the alliance in for the faction rewards? Selling that will make you more gold than a small discount.
