nope.... keep swinging those bottles back baby!!! *hic*

3 ales are supposed to make your character drunk and then 1 ale every minute should keep it that way. So you need 1002 ales for the title.

there's a drunkard title?
so what, i just chug 3 ales, and 1 ale every minute for how long?

For those who are too lazy to use a calculator that's roughly seventeen hours if you do it all at once.

Actually I believe you start with 5 ales and then either 1 ale a minute or 3 ales every 3 minutes.

I started pursuing the Drunkard title with my Ranger - my guild refer to him as the Street Lurker because he looks like some sort of crazy old homeless person - the title kind of fit.
To get to the first level of this title, it's going to cost me around 210k and a minimum of 16.5 hours of time.
So needless to say, I'm already 416 minutes into it. At first I would log in, get drunk and try to earn some gold working the local economy of whatever place I happened to be in - buying low, selling high, trying to afford the next batch of 250 ales - each stack of 250 costs somewhere just over 20k. I'm about 80% through my second stack with the third stack just waiting...
The toughest part of this title is remembering to take the ale to sustain the drunken state. I usually start off with 4 ales and take 1 every 90 seconds or so.
My advice - if you start doing this, do it while opening up your map or farming in a low level area or when selling unwanted stuff.

For some reason, when I move, I lose my drunkeness a bit faster. That's what it seems like to me, so maybe sitting in one spot will make it last longer? This is IN-GAME, YES....
Runner Of Fate
Well I got 500 mins about so far, I discovered, with at least egg nog, everyone is about 3 minutes...
it still counts your time even when you think its done, to check look at a item in the sky (at camp rankor its good) and spin your camera, if its not blurry get another ale

Chicken Ftw
Spiked eggnog is the way to go. 1 spiked = 3 minutes drunk. Takes four ale to equal two minutes drunk. Wouldn't advise doing it for 17 hours straight, as that's just not healthy. Couple hours a day worked for me. ;p
I have Drunkard on my ranger....not gonna bother with level two. Just too expensive for something not worth it, imo. Drunkard even sounds better than Incorrigible Ale-Hound.

dam, whats the final title and how do you get it?

Welp, I finally got my Drunkard title on my Ranger...
AND have I got gossip for you good people!
Lets hypothetically say that you have a few stacks of ale...
1. go to Drok
2. call up your inventory and your hero status
3. quaff 3 ales and immediately map to Camp Rankor
4. upon arriving, call up your inventory and hero status
5. immediately quaff 3 ales
6. immediately map back to Drok
7. repeat until out of ales
By doing this, you will be racking up minutes towards this title a lot faster than by standing around waiting. I've found that 4 ales = 3 minutes by doing this.
Although this doesnt work each time you map, I have found that if you seem hung up on a minute (like 416 minutes, for example), if you quaff 5 or 6 ales, it typically begins advancing you again.
This exploit works in many other places - most, in fact but, the probability of it working is different based on location. I have no idea why that would be but, it works.
Best combos:
Drok -> Rankor -> Drok -> Port Sledge -> Drok
Lions Arch -> Berger -> Lions Arch
Lions Arch -> Allies Guild Hall (not your own); Lions Arch -> Allies Guild Hall
Worst combos:
anywhere -> any mission location
any mission location -> anywhere
anywhere in Ascalon
I started using this exploit with somewhere around 420 - 500 minutes at 8:15 this evening and, by 10:45, I had completed the title. 2.5 hours vs. 500 - 550 minutes.
The big problem with this is that it costs a bit more. It took me, all in all, around 950 ales to complete (and I messed up a bit, too). To be fair, though, I accepted 300 ales in exchange for an item. However, at 50k per 250 ale stack, the cost was still under the estimated 200k for this title and completed in a fraction of the time.
I hope some of you find this useful. Hopefully it'll stick around long enough for others to take advantage,

I don't quite understand it - why exactly are you mapping between the outposts? Does it add those 3 minutes for the mapping?

10,000 minutes drunk = 166.7 hours = 6.9 days
So you would need to spend 7 full days drunk. Since Ale costs 200g, and each gives you 1 minute, you need to have around 2,000,000g on hand.

larkdetemplar
yes, by mapping from point a to point b, you typically rack up time - I've been able to define 0 - 8 minutes per instance, depending
clazydude
but every time you map you need to start another 3-4 ales to start the drunkard-ness again. is this how it is more expensive?
