event equipment improvements

maybe this sounds stupid but, i have a yule cap, maybe it's just like the pumpkin helmet, but if you use a rune on it, then the rune should work, i've tried it just a few minutes ago, but doesn't work, look at this:

i just want those runes working on the event items too, don't know if it works but if it doesn't then tell me, but i wanna use those staff wrapping and staff head on a candy cane staff, just for fun :P

if you wanna know why: i want to use gingerbread focus,candy cane wand(or candy cane staff in both hands, if those head and wrapping work on it) and the yule cap with healing prayers +1 once i'm at level 20 (on maximum) and then i go to cantha and play with those monsters, and maybe help people with these equipments, so that i can have some fun there :P, the more fun the better the game right?
anyway, do you people agree with this suggestion?
don't take this as a very serious gameplay suggestion, because this one is for fun (i saw a lot of people with the pumpkin helm, so maybe a lot do care )

I dont think they would consider this. It's because they designed the runes so that only primary professions can equip their respective runes. Because those hats can be worn by anyone.... there's your problem

Perhaps if you made it so that you could equip the runes, but the bonus would only work for that primary class, then that would work.

If you already have a Rune of Minor Healing on another piece of armor - it will not stack. Your Servant's Scalp design has a built in bonus for healing.

The rune should work on the Yule Cap.

i made a BIG mistake, i now only wanna know if i can use those staff wrapping and head on candy cane staff, sorry again, i just totally forgot about it
