Tyrian character can't get any primary quests/missions in cantha

Hi, I've brought my tyrian toon into cantha, and have been to kaineng centre and the market place but all I can do is get ordinary quests there , no primary's or missions 
Help please.

That's because you've got your own primary quests to worry about in Tyria. If you go to Shing Jea island, and you talk to some of the headmasters who would offer primary quests they'll say "You are not a student at this monestary, nor may you become one. That honor is reserved for Canthans."
I wish I could do those 2000 exp reward quests with some of my Tyrians too

You obviously got the Mhenlo's Request, as that is how you are in Cantha. The next primary quest you need is called "Welcome to Cantha", which is obtained from Dockhand Quangnai, who is the person you talked to when you completed Mhenlo's Request. You did talk to him, didn't you ? My guess is that he is still waiting for you. The Welcome to Cantha quest will lead you to the first mission location for Tyrians in Cantha - Vizunah Square - Foreign Quarter.
Having quests in Tyria has nothing to do with it. And many of the quests on Shing Jae island are meant for only native Canthans, as pre-searing is only accessible to native Tyrians, although you can now enter the mission locations, thanks to a recent update.

How do you enter those mission locations? I have recently gone to those mission locations, back on the island. There is no one that stands outside that allows you into the towns. Nor is there any primary quest that lets you enter.
Is there something I'm missing?
I know of the updated that occurd and still no such luck. Anyone else having this problem?

You must follow the quests....the welcome to cantha will get you to vinzuah foreign....after you complete that mission you need to do the looking for oracle (and then closer to the stars).
The missions in cantha require you to do some quests before the gates unlock unlike tyria where you can just walk into any town (and now canthas can too).
So go back and check for the quest guys (check your "L" to see how far on the quest you have gotten.....and then follow along with it to see who you need to contact next). goodluck

Thanks for the reply cosy, however. I dont think you understood. Im trying to do those first 2 missions in the starter islands in Cantha. With my Tryian Char. But it doesnt let you in without doing the quest that leads you there with your canthan char. So how is it that you get in to complete those quest so that I may get my title.
It was part of that last update not to long ago. But when i go to the entrances it doesnt allow me to enter those towns. They are gated off.
Hopes this helps in a better explaination as to what I was asking.

i had no problem getting in, i tried it a day before the update, couldnt enter. tried it a day after the update, and i got in. i havnt really done anything special, i just ran from seitung to zen daijun and got in. same with minister chos estate.
i really have no clue what your problem is if it still doesnt work :/ good luck with figuring it out.

Go back to the docks and get your primary quest.
