My Game is Messing Up!?!?!

I was on my Assassin running from Maatu Keep (think thats the name) to the first Luxon place where you do conviction or something like that. Anyways, I got to Boreas Seabed and watched the stupid little video. When it got done and the town started to load up, I got dissconected. So I exited the game, started up GW, and clicked on my Assassin. Well, after I click it, it goes to the loading screen where it takes you to the town you were last in (Boreas Seabed). Well, it doesn't load. It sits there at 0% and doesn't move. I tried my other characters to see if something was wrong with the game but I got into the game with every other character. The only character I can't get in with is my Assassin. Please I need some help!

I am also all of a sudden having a similar problem. My Necro is in Vizunah Square (Foreign Quarter) and it just sits there at 0% loading until it time out and I get an err=005. All my other characters can log in fine but my Necro seems to be trapped in Vizunah square. I really don't wanna remake this character and loose all my progress.

I had the same thing with all my characters. It just sits there at 0% with the music from the character select screen still playing till I get that error. Help pleeeeze!

Yes. My error was 005 as well. Obviously something is happening with GW if 3 of us are having the same problem in a matter of minutes. *prays*

I'm getting that same error message with the code 005, no matter what character I try to log in with. And it happened all of a sudden! I suspect there's a network problem down on Arenanet's end, since I have been playing all weekend without any trouble. Then this morning I lagged out in Maatu Keep and haven't been able to log in with any character since.

Naturally the GW website says "no network issues" on the network status page. :-/

I too am having this issue.

on the sign in screen it says that there is maintenance going on at some point today...
but i have TS and my guildies are all on and having no problem.. very strange.
may be a regional problem
i am in florida.... anyone else down here?
hope they fix this.

I am in Pennsylvania my friends that are in central timezone are all playing just fine wonder if its an East Coast router problem.

I am in FL and I am also having this same 005 error, hope they fix it soon.

That may be why. I'm also on the East Coast in VA. Still strange that they haven't updated their website.

As far as the maintenance, that was scheduled for YESTERDAY (Sunday) afternoon, and should not be an issue today. I'm suspecting an East Coast routing problem at this point.

na its not a east coast thing cause I am in the Central Time Zone, and I am still having that problem

amazing that we can login to our characters seeing as they aren't stored on our pc's yet we cannot go into a town/outpost

Yeah. I can sign in with my other characters, but I don't really care for them. If they got deleted it would be no problem b/c they are all PvP and I have nothing on them. But my Assassin....GW would have to give me a lot of minipets if I couldn't get my Assassin back. I'm sure it will be ok by tonight.
