I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but I can't get any further with my Tyrian characters than Altrumm Ruins. I've done all the missions and most of the quests but I just can't seem to find a way to get any further. What quest or what do I have to do to continue on to House, etc. I moved my ritualist on with no problem. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Once you've done arborstone and borelis, you go back to the city to confront shiro in the sewers. Finishing that takes you back out of the city to try and make the kurzicks and the luxons work together, at which point you need to aquire 10000 faction points (either kurzick or luxon) to continue on past House zu Heltzer or Cavalon depending on which faction you side with. Until you get past your initial shiro confrontation, you can't get into either of the Kurzick or Luxon main cities.

Thanks so much Dargon.. that information helped alot. I've done sewers btw, and Boreas. I guess I just have to work on acquiring the faction. Thanks!

Well, if you are stuck in Altrumm Ruins, that means you just finsihed the Arborstone mission - where the ceiling falls on you. You should pick up the primary quest "The Convocation" from Headmaster Amara in Altrumm Ruins. If you had the foresight to stop in Muatu Keep on your way to Arborstone, map back there, otherwise, run back from Arborstone. I guess Muatu isn't a mandatory stop, but one that most people make. From there, talk to Master Togo right outside, as part of the Convocation quest, and follow your map to Boreas Seabed. That is the next mission for you to do. You can literally run there - just avoid aggro, you don't really even need running skills. It's more like a trot.

As a rule, whenever you finish a mission, there is an NPC standing right in front of you that offers the next primary quest to advance the storyline. The end of each primary quest is either the next mission location or the NPC that gives you the next primary quest.

It's amazing how many people ask this in Altrumm Ruins. People do the mission thinking it'll take them to the next area, but it doesn't. Perhaps they should make it more obvious where the next primary quest is

I don't know. I seem to always find it right in front of me where I spawn after completing the previous mission. And I've been through every one of them - six times.

seems I see many ppl stuck at Dragons throat or other challange missions like Altrum....

Even though you just have to follow primary quests to get out I think Anet needs to put in big letters:

OPTIONAL CHALLANGE MISSION....when the area loads
