Buying Luxon/Kurzick Faction

In befriending the luxons/kurzicks quest summary both point out it is possible to buy faction. I cant find where and nobody seems to know please answer my question

I don't think you can actually "buy" faction. BUT, you can farm it through alliance battles and competitive missions.

It does say that you can buy it...

Absolute, you are correct, it does say that you can buy faction, but I'm starting to believe that what they were actually saying was that you could buy it from another player. What I'm thinking is inviting that person to your aliance, they dump faction into your aliance, you pay them. I don't see it happening, actually, but that's the only thing I've come up with.

MadKing, the PvE side of faction farming is repeatable quests on both the Luxon and Kurzik sides. Supply Run for Luxons and Duel for Kurzik, each giving 400 faction, 2k xp, and 150g. Also, technically, I could also say Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry, but that's PvP that's only for PvE characters, so I don't think it counts.

No, what it says is "There is rumor that certain unscrupulous individuals will even sell faction for gold!". You, as the hero, are not unscrupulous so you would not buy it. You can however "sell" it for jadeite or amber. Rumors do not equal fact, so just because an NPC says there is a rumor, doesn't mean it can actually be done.

Whoever said I was a hero? Forget that, heroes get killed by monsters.

You can sort of buy faction talk to the Kurzick/Luxon preists outside mission or just outposts oustide of Kurzick/Luxon areas. He asks you something and you pay him 50g and he gives you 10 Kurzick/Luxon faction depending on who he is for. Maybe thats what it's refering to.

Only if they're catholic and are hanging ariound choir boys.

If you are "Kurzick" and go talk to the "Luxon" NPC's usually they will not talk to you. But if you talk to the priest he will ask you something for 50g (I will post what he says when I get home, I am at school right now.) This works vis versa also.
