Lvl 15 dire white tiger?

Ive heard some people talking about this and since I havent really been bothered to look out for this "premade" pet, could anyone share some knowledge about where it is and (if applicable) how to cap it. Im not a newbie, i know HOW to cap it in theory, but if its anything like the Salke Fur Friend fiasco, then could you just tell me about it? thanks

I'm pretty sure there's one in Pongmei Valley, but you have to get there before the Yeti's charm it, there was a guide written in this forum a little while ago on how to tame it..

i made several runs out there before i let my lvl 20 dire snow wolf go, i didnt see any white tigers. i saw plenty of orange lvl 15 elder or dire (i forget which), but no whites. I settled with charming a level 5 white tiger just west of the southern exit of tanglewood copse. I then leveled it to dire in about 2 hours and 20 minutes in Scoundrel's Rise (north of the Gates of Kryta in Tyria). I used the following build
13 Beast Mastery - 12+minor
13 Expertise - 9 + mask + superior
rest in wilderness survival (forget how much)
Enraged Lunge
Brutal Strike
Predator's Pounce
Poisonous Bite
Troll Unguent
Symbiotic Bond
Comfort Animal
Charm Animal
The first time i went through I got it to level 10 (in one run) after completely clearing the area, the second time got it to level 12 and probably around 75-85%, and i forget if i was able to get it to dire in the 3rd run or not, but if it wasnt the 3rd then i didn't have to go far for in the 4th to get dire. Just attack a creature once and let your pet do the rest with poisonous bite then alternate between predator's pounce, brutal strike, and enraged lunge. While symbiotic bond is up and using predators pounce, you shouldn't have to use comfort animal. The only thing to worry about is the level 17 blight fighters with putrid explosion, once you kill one blight fighter, run back a few steps to get out of the range (and hopefully your pet gets out too). Just keep troll unguent when fighting them as well. This may not be the best way to level but it's what i do for a controled evolution (i've had unevolved pets before due to uncontrolled evolutions and was rather dissappointed).

need a +15 energy stuff and a vampiric weapon
get out of a town, find a resurection shrine whith a pet camping on it. make sure the pet is ON the shrine, and not walking in circles around it.
make sure that there is no other mobs colse by
step 1: take off your armor, equip the vampiric weapon
step 2: attak the pet, but dont kill it!!!
step 3: let it kill you ALOT of times. the vampiric weapon will speed up the process.
step 4: go to sleep, leave the game runing, you will be resurected on shrine all the time with a pissed off pet
step 5: wake up, take a cofee, and look at the screen. at this point you will be getting attaked by a lvl 20 dire pet.
step 6: Equip the +15 energy stuff, put back your armor
step 7: use whirling defence and charm animal
result: you have a lvl 20 Dire pet of your choise with no work

That's an awesome way to find a pet, can you pull the animals there or do you need to rezone constantly until you find one camping a shrine?

and u need the +15 energy, for when you need to charm. the thing is that with 60dp you end up with like 10 energy left, and before charming(10e), i ran whirling defence(10e), so the DIRE lvl 20 pet doesnt kill me while i charm it, cuz it takes a few seconds.
actually, even a plain white +10 stuff will do, but i just had my tarppig stuff equiped
btw, cant give me credit for this. i got the trick from Verona Span and then my Guild leader who gave me more tips

There is a Level 15 elder white tiger it is outside of Jade Quarry(Kurzick) down the ramp,BUT there is a ranger boss that charms it once you see it.

go outside HzH, south side. (Fernande or something)
as you go out die right away. wen you rez, you will rez at a diffrent shrine far away with no guards and a tiger(i got no clue why, but use it before it gets nurfed)
at that shrine theres always a white tiger walking around. sometimes he spams ON the shrine, sometimes far. you gotta map till you get him ON the shrine, and not NEXT to it.

Damn... I seriously hate that tiger, after 30/40 times it still hasn't spawned on the shrine. I'm still going to get it though.

Ok, this is really weird. It used to be South-East of the portal, before I attacked, and now it always runs North-East. Towards the Dredges. Really weird.

I got my Dire White Tiger, I it did right outside of HzH. I just ran out and see if there was a tiger close to the shrine. When there was I just drug 2 mob groups into kill the gaurds (note this though if you dont watch the tiger while you are rezzing the tiger will get stuck behind the npc giving the supply quest. When this happens just run over and get him to move or continue hitting you,he will unstuck), when the gaurds was dead and mobs clear the area I just started the charm and moved to rez shrine cancelling the charm. I proceeded as outlined above. Other than the lil glich I mentioned this works like a charm. Thanks for the info.

Yeah it worked well the first time. I came back from watching Big Trouble in Little China to see that I error=7'd. My tiger was level 18 when I left too! I'm sitting at a level 17 Tiger right now though it doesn't say dire or anything. I'm tempted to just cap him now due to boredom.

Ok, I got fed up of looking at a lvl 15 Dire White Tiger, so I tried Horacer77's method. And that works way better than the other one. There's about a 33% chance that a tiger spawns closeby to the shrine, and the rest is a piece of cake.

there is a elder wehite tiger outdside of the jade quarry (kurzik side).
he patrols with a group that will go past there that is down a slight ramp, but u can capture him quite easly, just make him attack u and get away from henchies so they dont kill it.

also equip some vampirik 1 hand weapon (like a sword or axe..) and a -50hp cesta. so at 60 dp 1 hit and youre done

Outside HzH, you've got to try a couple of times though. If it's on the shrine, lure a group of Mantids to the shrine and let them kill the NPC's. If they kill the tiger, which could happen, just start again.

My worry is that too may Sups and you will res dead after the -60% DP...in which case I'm not sure your pet would get the xp when you die.
As for me, I drank from the Chalice of Corruption AND held a vampiric weapon...-3 regen...finished to level 20 while I watched a movie...I love my Dire Kitty

i updated about a couple hours ago, just updating saying that i now have 3 lvl 20 dire tigers now since the last time i posted, great guide, works the fastest on monks and necromancers since you can put on their 55 gear, one time they die, they have 1 health, lol then the deaths really roll in
