um... did you read your skill at all?

"Resurrect target party member. Target party member is returned to life with 25% Health and zero Energy, and is teleported to your current location. All of target's skills are disabled for 10...4 seconds. This Spell consumes all of your remaining Energy."

There's usually a downside to powerful skills, ele's often have exhaustion, and this res skill (used ALOT in PvE) has the downside of making you lose all energy after casting it... you can surpass the problem though by switching foci/weapons

very good in PvE, since most mobs won't move at all, you can ress a dead ally without fearing of the monsters.

Indeed.

Have a weapon set with a -5e Sword/Axe, and if possible the -2e Cities of Ascalon quest reward focus (50% chance reward).

When you want to cast Rebirth, switch to this set. This will drop your maximum energy pool by 17, assuming you were running a +10e staff. Once it is finished casting, swap back up for an instant 17 energy.

Also a way to surpass the loss of major energy, remove your armor real quick, wait for rebirth to fully cast, then put it back on, you get the energy from the armor back so.

If you need fast ressing (as in mid battle) either use signets or a rezmer. If you don't need it fast then I'm sure waiting a few seconds for you energy to regen won't kill you. Just make sure it's not your ele doing the rebirthing in PvE or you'll be waiting a half hour for the energy to regenerate (even with the negative kit).

Ressurection Chant and Restore Life are my favorite REZ skills, however i usually ask if there is another monk to bring rebirth, if he prefers restore life, then ill bring rebirth.

However i did get a nice laugh out of the "OMG rebirth makes my energy zero!!" They put descriptions to skills because they wanted you to learn their effects, if you dont bother to read them then tough ****.
