All of the armor in the game has a different look, but with the amount of players you run to a lot of the sme looking toons.
I suggest that all armor should have more than one section available to dye.
Meaning for example: Canthan palace armor- chest piece- there are designs on it that when dyed the whole dam thing turns the dye color.
There should be 2-3 sections for each piece of armor to dye. That way the color scheme could be totally custom.

Why not. If players want to further customize their characters - let them.

I would like to see the under armor dyable.
More importantly I would like to know what I am doing before I spend thousands on dying something. Wanting something blue, red, green, black, etc. is ok. I wanted to have a pastel orangeon my Mes 15k Nobles dress - X, denied. I would like to know what the color combo is for the starter brown in Cantha. My Ele can't survive running around in her starter-wear forever so she buys new clothes. Can she get the same color from anything, nope. Orange-purple, usually a good brown - orange. Red-Green - red. Orange-blue - orange. Purple-yellow - yellow. Orange-green - nope. Green-purple-orange - nope. The only thing I can guess is orange-black. But it is a guess, because ANet refuses to provide sufficient rules for players to know what they are doing.
