Collector gothic shield?

Is there a way to get a perfect collector gothic shield in the game?

Well, from what I know all collectors shields have the main game skin, like the Tyria one is a Crimson Carapace Shield..I don't think Gothic is the Cantha one. Just trying to help

from what iv seen, cantha collectors are all bronze shields

Umm, well according to Guildwiki. all the Cantha collectors listed so far have Wooden Bucklers. That crappy Tyrian shield skin. UGH!

So how can i get a perfect gothic shield then? What would be perfect stats and bonuses to have?

Shield bonuses are maxed when "while in stance", "while hexed" and "while enchanted", providing damage absorption and health.

There are other options, like a XX% chance of reduced damage, XX% chance of +1 to a skill, etc.

So "perfect" = the one that best fits your build.

Look them up on guildwiki.

"perfect" is usually:
-2 (In stance or Enchanted)
+30 HP always.

Also popular:
-2 (In Stance)
-2 (Enchanted)

And:
-2 (In stance or Enchanted)
+45 HP (In stance or Enchanted)

Other Sheilds that are specific to the needs:
-3 (While Hexed)
+60HP (While Hexed)

And:
-5 (20% chance)
+30 Always

A shield is only really worth ANYTHING if its one of those combinations and has a low req. You can pick up a slightly imperfect (like +29 health) version for ALOT less than a perfect version. Also note none of the Condition Duration reducing mods or Skill+1 mods are worth much on the "perfects" market, but there are specific buyers for them.

All in All I can suggest to you that you find someone selling a Gothic Shield that either has these stats and a HUGE req or a low req and almost these stats. This is the only way you won't break your bank buying it.

Any non-crafter/non-collector shield with nice skins and stats cost a lot. Will Guildwars ever have shield mods?
