I'm current ettin farming right now.

On my 5th run and STILL no gold armour.

I usually get 1 gold armour every run...

You do realize that the more you farm an area the worse drops get?

Try doing a mission or something then come back again.

"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

It happens, we've all been there. Whether its nerfed or not, I don't know but I do know that you get crappy days and good days. Stick with it

At this point, I hope that ArenaNet will actually nerf Ettins so that all these "OMFG ETTIN NERF WTF!!!11!!!111!!" thread will go away.

Actually i heard from my guildies that Sand Giants now drop very good and Ettins seem to drop less .

Guess I could do an my 'omg they nerfed ettins' run again, and collect my gold armors..

Every time I went to verify, I've gotten 3 gold armors from ~5 first ettins

Shame that I'm at work tho
