One thing I would like.

More pets added to the beginning. The only reason Im going to make a ranger in factions is because I think they look better. I dont like the fact that there is like two pets you can tame on the island. Im gonna be running around the upper missions with my level five crab...

Are Cranes and Tigers really the only pets in pre Cantha? I was hoping not...now my Ranger might just wait on the pet thing until I can grab either the Black Moa, Phoenix or a Crab...

you can get a lvl 15 elder Tiger or Crane right outside Maatu keep. (about 1/3 to the end of the game) these are hanging out by Yettis (like ettins) but are not getting charmed for some reason. every time you return to outoust its a diffrent 1 (tiger or crane), but mostly a crane.

how i got my dire White tiger at lvl 17 when i charmed it?
