I don't have one, but wouldn't it be a, umm, recurve bow?

Don't listen to Poison Ivy, it is not a longbow, it is a recurve.

There are 5 classes of bows: Flat, Long, Short, Recurve and Horn.

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Bow
that will tell you all you need to know about bows.

Short and Long have comparable accuracy with range traded for firing speed and vice versa;
Recurve are the same speed as long, slightly lower range, but incredibly accurate.
Flat are as fast a Short and as long range as a Long, but with a horrific flight time (therefore low accuracy);
Horn are not particularly efficient BUT they have 10% armour penetration ALWAYS.

Haggard is close, flat does not have the same range as long, slightly shorter. You're best bet is to goto the Isle of the Nameless and test it out yourself, there is an archery range there that will show you how far it can shoot.

Flatbows and longbows have the same range, if you want to test it yourself got to the temple of balthazar and test it on the dummys :P

The amount of misinformation in this thread is making me cringe.

Using Arbitary Figures

Flatbow = Fast Refire / Long Range / Low Accuracy
Longbow = Medium Refire / Long Range / Medium Accuracy
Recurve = Medium Refire / Medium Range / High Accuracy
Horn Bow = Long Refire / Medium Range / Medium Accuracy
Short Bow = Fast Refire / Short Range / Medium Accuracy

Where:
Refire = Speed the bow takes to shoot arrows.
Range = How long can the arrows travel to target.
Accuracy = The arc that the arrows travel to target.
