Crash On Password

just today, i started up my PC, started guild wars as normal but as soon as i entered in my password he crashed with the "serious error" anet bug report thing. i have tried restarting and it does not help at all

try the password switch on your GW shortcut properties (Target)

"E:\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" --password=******

ive alrady got the password thing on, it crashes as soon as it begins to log in

ok, Just as a 'test' - re-name the GW.dat to something else,

all your login details are storred in here (email address etc) as-well as the game content, If this works, and lets you log-in, then its your .dat file which is corrupt and i'd suggest deleting the old one, and re-downloading everything..

If it STILL Crashes, then its more than likley something else on your machine, some other software or something, as without the .dat file - GW is just 'plain' and nothing extra.

Maybe it was the .dat - and it repaired its self
