I just read that if you have been playing for a year Anet gives u a mini pet as a gift?
Is this true and if so how do u get this gift?
Any help is always appreciated

Yes, it's true. The mini pet will apear as a box in your inventory, but remember that it only works with CHARS that are 1 year old. Not accounts.

Just open the gift by double-clicking it. My first was a mini-Jade, cute little guy. Kinda camera shy though, it is hard to get a good picture of him.
