Guildwars Factions Game Client???

Hi,

Apologies for creating a new thread, but the search function seemed to be down at the time of writing this.

I'm totally new to guildwars, my brother got the game for me recently...

To return the favour, I want to get GW Factions for my brother. The situation is that he lived quite far away from me and I want to give him a serial key for it...

Could I buy the retail version of Factions from a shop, open it and send him the serial key via email? What about getting it from the ncsoft website?

I'm asking because while looking at on the internet, there doesn't seem to be a GW Factions client that you can download... So would that mean that I would have to send him the discs also?

Prophecies and Factions use the same client. NCSoft's website does allow you to purchase just a serial key, yes--you wouldn't need to purchase a boxed copy and send him anything.

the client on guildwars.com is the same client for factions or prophecies. You could then buy a retail copy and email him the key.

Or it can be purchased from plaync.com and downloaded.
