Cast conjure flame, Run up on your target, hit them w/ golden lotus, golden pheonix before you hit them w/horns, cast bed of coals, then knock them down in it, which sets them on fire, cast return to get to one of your allies, which also CRIPPLES that foe that was next to you, and then if they are still alive, finish them w/breath of fire.... Let me tell you, i have never seen so many numbers popping up on my screen at one time in my life.... Absolutly halarious, and fun to play.... PM me and let me know what you think!

Almost forgot! If you want, swap out BoF for meteor, so after you telle, you spike them and knock them BACK down into BoC - Being on fire HURTZ :-D

only thing i worry about is exhaustion from meteor, as the extra spike is wonderful if it can handle it.

was this mainly a fun build, or is it rally viable in pvp/pve, it doesnt have any heals.. which isn't so nice..

entagling asp would be nice, and also means your first lineup will look like this:

The recharge time on bed of coals and meteor give you plenty of time to recover energy and exhaustion, so you can look at that as a good thing or a bad thing really.

You could also take out Conjure Flame if you want more healing

I've been trying a slight variant that casts bed of coals then tehnai's wind. Even at 2 air magic for only 21pt AOE it still knocks everyone down into the coals, great fun I then nuke them with double dragon for about 140pts AOE, and then struggle to stay alive with shadow arts and critical defences.

The build (from memory) is:

Fire - 10
Air - 2
Daggers - 10
Shadow -8
Critical - 13 (for some energy)

Critical Defenses
Shroud of Distress (the two defenses tend to be necessary for me at least, but if not, a teleport in could be great)
Bed of Coals
Tehnai's Wind
Double Dragon (E) - for fun, replace with something else at will
Critical Eye
Way of Perfection
Shhadow Refuge / return

Return makes for a nice touch because then they're all running around on fire while crippled, hopping torches are beautiful

So basically, crit eye > way of perfection, then get in with crit defenses until you've got lots of targets around you and your energy back up from white criticals, then , bed of coals > tehnai's wind > double dragon > return

Double Dragon is really just for fun and there is undoubtedly better, if I don't have my first two defensive talents up it becomes a bit hard on energy after exhaustion, but so far it's fun at least. I make sure to always be auto attacking something with Critical Eye up for a good energy return, and I use daggers with extra enchant duration (Xuekuo's) which add a bit of damage too, but zealous would undoubtedly be better.

Note: I've only tried this in PVE, it's fun, if probably not the best of builds

why not just go ele prim, (telemenalist) use deaths charge and recall, plus what ever to spike with, all 4 magic lines have good damage....my lvl 13 ele could tele spike for around 250 damage, plus i can go two times before i hit 0 energy....................

I also use A/E build, but just for PvE though. I find it pretty effective and self reliant in the missions.

It works pretty well against caster mobs. I first call a monk or ritualist target and cast meteor shower when the tanks rush in. (If there are enemy assassins or warriors running to our back row healers & casters I drop ward against melee there if I have it.) That does area interrupts, which serve me nicely. I then run to the target and start with disrupting stab + entangling asp and perhaps inferno. If I ever get hit at all I drop shadow's refuge for some self healing. Its not long before the monk or rit target is dead. Then I often run back to our casters/healers to protect them if they are being attacked by melee'ers and drop ward against melee again in there.

It works fine for me.

Shadow refuge is not necesery (in most of occasions enemies will chase other spellcasters leaving you intact) if you have decent monk in group , still its usefull if you're burning.

First start with fire attunement then deal damage with other spells, tag enemy with lowest health using Assasin Promise, if it dies with AP on it you'll recive a little energy (17 as far as i remember) and all you're skills will be recharged, quite usefull if you wish to cast Meteor Shower or Rodgort's, still you shouldnt rely on AP recharge so avoid casting Rodgort's and Meteor S one after another. Also pay attention to Exhaustion two MS should be maximum, third one will very likely disable you.
Forget that youll be team's prime nuker, thats elementalist job, still you can perform quite well. Also you could consider using Water/Air magic instead of Fire.
