You can get some really bizarre PUGs. The last 1 i played in today for FoW was 2 Warriors (the leader who you could tell was a noob), 1 Ele, 1 Necro, 2 Mesmers (yes i did just say TWO mesmers) and 2 Monks (myself-boonprot and a healer).
The necro took absolutely ages to load, and even then the other wammo started to complain that 'we should've taken another ele isntead of mesmer'. I couldn't even see where he was coming from, we were a man down till the necro loaded and we cleared the group with barely a spell cast (1 mesmer was pure dom/interrupt 1 was a degen/Migraine mes) from the Shadows. Later on when the patrols start to wander around we accidently lured a few too many (when you suddenly see an Abyssal appear behind you you know your screwed). Before we could even get round to ressing everyone else in the group the wammo left. Leaving us with the 'noob' wammo who stuck with it till the end. I swear that group was plagued though.. the necro dropped randomly 10 minutes later, then much later on 1 of the mesmers dropped after we killed the dragons. Eventually the other warrior decided to go while 2 monks, an ele with 60dp (god bless Healing Breeze and Prot Spirit) and the Migraine mesmer decided to do the Army of Darkness quest. Killing 2 lots of Monks and Barragers isn't easy that way
Overall it was the most unorthadox PUG i'd seen in a while, hell seeing them using 2 monks and just 1 mesmer and do well is rare enough, but if this 1 had actually stayed together we had the power to clear much of FoW. It just shows how easy it is to spot a noob, but also how easy it is to spot a quitter, i could tell that other wammo looked like he was begging for an excuse after the first group.
