Hey guys,

I'm in a bit of a pickle. My girlfriend and I just got through Pre Searing, and were in the area where Captain Osric gives you a quest when you first enter Post Searing. But we had this random asshole on our team who just went through the transition without even giving us a chance to get the quest. So now I ask, how do I get back to get this quest? Because I'm not skipping out on it, and we've spent so long in Pre Searing just playing about, that I'm not planning on just doing that over again. And if you guys don't know how to do it in-game, is there a way to get my girlfriend and I back in that area by contacting someone? Is there someone of Guild Wars who I can talk to about this? I'm trying the Support as well but that seems very vague to me, I figured I'd get some more concrete support here.

Unfortunately, according to GuildWiki, http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/The_Krytan_Ambassador if you don't talk to Osric before someone in your part enters Old Ascalon, you will never get the quest

The quest just directs you to talk to Warmaster Tydus, but you do miss out on 500xp. According to GuildWiki, you can still talk to Warmaster Tydus and get the next quest.

I guess that's not too bad then, as long as I'm not missing out on any other quests. Does anyone know if I will be? I figure I won't be, but just making sure.

the quest (if it can be called that) is to tlk to Tydus about ambassador zan.

speak to tydus and quest is done.

not missing much honestly

You've been in the field, so you probably haven't heard about this, but an ambassador's arrived from our old enemy Kryta. They can help us fight the Charr, but the King won't even talk to him. The prince hasn't been able to make any headway with his father, but he knows the king trusts Tydus, and Tydus trusts you. Would you perhaps talk to Warmaster Tydus about this matter? He's in his usual place in Ascalon City."

Once you see the cutscene for the searing, you end up in Old Ascalon in a party made up of the people who were on your team when you entered Ascalon Academy. Captain Osric will be standing a little ways ahead of you. If you don't talk to him and get this quest before anyone from your party enters Ascalon City you will never get this quest. That being said, once you get the quest simply enter Ascalon City, and talk to Warmaster Tydus who is at the top of some stairs in front of a dry fountain.
