Anet, please listen

Please Listen to the majority of the GW masses. The afk problem in the competitive missions(aspenwood, jade) is becoming very sad. They are ruining the pleasure and competitive nature of these missions. I even had one afker using a degen weapon to look as if he was taking damage. I know I speak for a lot of folks. This is not a question, so why did you post it here?

We have dicussion forums for this kind of thing, plus A.net devs are already aware of the problem, but no solid plans have stated as of yet on what they are going to do about it.

Please don't misuse the forums.

What can do A.net do? I mean think about it, people begging for this to stop but what can A.net REALLY do to solve this problem?

I doubt they meant to "misuse" the forums.

While I sympathize, this has been addressed in several other threads. No need to create another.

So sorry if my thread is in the wrong place. Where should I repost? I was only interested in having this issue addressed by A-net or whoever. I was not expecting to be chastized by all and sundry. I know that there are folks from Gw who read these posts. Just wanted my voice to be heard. Search is down, gez that is my bad!

please note that reposting is not needed or wanted as Anet has officially noted the problem and said they are trying to find a fair way to solve at least the worst of the problem.

there have been so many repeat threads on this people are touchy when new ones pop up.

Lol, you post too much to be a troll (since they usually get bored after a while) but it's mostly what I see you do.

A.Net might surprise you with what they can and can't do...I could think of a few solutions and I've posted them in other threads. Other people have put out suggestions too. The whole "just accept it even though it sucks" attitude promotes nothing but stagnation

Popup some random problem each time we enter the mission. If we don't solve it correctly then we're booted into the lobby. If you get booted more than 3 times in a minute then you have to wait a minute before you can enter again.

More to the point... why not use this test:

Post a public statement on their site with the effect that they have perma-ban "Dark Lttle War" and all other AFKs will suffer the same fate.

Notice here that I have named the culprit right here, and I have nothing to fear, simply join any game he is in, and I will wager $50 that he is an AFK.

Actually,the simple math question works nicely.Especially in games like RO to catch bots.
