Welcome to the land of error 7?

Did Cantha barf on the land of Tyria? I was just noticing this today after a while of playing. I came back to droks, and decided to experiment around with some dyes. I sat there examining the colors of my armor and what looked best, then error 7. Logged back on, and thought, "Nah, probably just a server belch or something" continued doing what I was doing, sat around for a while, error 7. Logged back in again, and decided to just sit there because I wasn't sure what was happening, 3 minutes later, error 7. Logged back in, switched over to look up something on wiki, switched back, sitting on the error 7 screen.

Is this some kind of afk booter thing? Or is anyone else experiencing this?

Got an error 7 right before GVG started so I was happy wasn't during.

I've had an abnormal number of error 7s and large amounts of lag overall. Nothing like playing a hard mission and freezing for 10-20 seconds then unfreezing finding yourself dead and then having the same thing happen again and again.

Please fix this anet.


P.S. I'm not having internet problems as I can play any other game online and experiance little to no lag.

Servers seem to be getting lag spikes the past few days. I'm sure A.net are already aware.

But in the meantime use the support at ncplay.com to make sure they are aware.

Error 7 only happened to me right after the release of factions, however it happened to me at a rather bad time. For example right when I got next to the forgemaster to craft armor...Error7 =D

The error 7 happened to me quite a bit lately too. Almost to the point of just quitting GW totally. Ever the more reason to buy Oblivion.

I had one while AFK-ing in an almost empty FH, couldnt get back in for 10 minutes either.

Indeed. This new spate of error sevens makes going into a GvG a bit of a ratings russian roulette.

I haven't had an error=007 in a while until a few days ago. It was one of the missions in Tyria and the error occurred right at the end of the mission while I was fighting the boss. Good old 30mins of wasted time...

Had err7's in almost every gvg tonight, last game we lost 2 people...

I've never had an error 7 in my whole time on GW's and I started playing last November.....

get them a lot.....my husband and I play on 2 different computers, sometimes we play together, sometimes not......I get the err 7, he doesnt. Doesnt make sense since we are in the same house on the same dsl connection..............

getting used to rerererererepeating quests and missions.

Hope this issue gets fixed soon, since its almost summer and the schoolkids will have more freetime to play..................

I've never had a single error 7 either throughout my entire guild wars playing time, and I've had the game since it came out. Anyone know what causes it?

i havent had an error 7 yet either and ive been playing since last june so i dont really know what is up with all thease err 7 threads.

Same thing has been happening to my sis and I, same dsl connection. I was working on the Closer to the Stars quest for my sister 2 nights ago and she got the err7. She needed the quest and got disconnected. I didn't and was spared.

Last night, went and did Abbadon's Mouth with some guildies. The only one that needed the mission got disconnected at the 3 mursaat before the final boss.

last 2 days 95% of the time i try to enter the Random Arenas error 007 and get disconnected from my dial-up connection.
No other games/programs ever dc me from the net.
Can't wait for my phone bill
