"Ready" Button
Anthony Truong
In missions, when you gather your party, and the leader asks "Is everyone ready?", usually only a few people out of the entire party answer, then the leader enters the mission even when some people aren't ready.
My suggestion is that we add a button next to your name in the party list that symbolizes "Ready", so the leader knows when to leave. If the leader tries to enter the mission when not enough party members are ready, then they get a message saying "Not everyone in your party is ready.".
If you're ready, you are seen by everyone in your party with a check mark next to your name.
That's all I have for now.

This is a pain sometimes, I agree.

I'd say, the team shouldn't start if all the players in the team won't give a signal that they're ready.

if i had 1g for all the times ive had 7of8 rdy, and someone hits 1 two or three times causing me start anyway when the last guy for some reason isnt rdy... i wouldn't need to farm

It's even easier to implement (at least from the interface side) than you'd think. You don't need to modify the party window at all. The party leader has an "Enter Mission" button, everyone else has a "Ready" button. The game grays-out/disables the "Enter Mission" button for the party leader unless everyone else has clicked their "Ready" button. That's all.

Team leader doesn't even bother asking if you're the last one to add into the group. Would have been fun doing Viz last night, if I mapped into Viz as a 55monk and then set my skills and attributes.

/sign too....definately something worth implementing. But i think the leader should be able to launch the mission w/o everyone being ready.

Though I can see this working out like skipping movies in co-ops. If it were that the leader couldn't start unless we all hit the ready button, could be somewhat annoying and be to blame for some random kickings. Say for instance one of your party members forgets to click...etc....

But the people should say not ready. The only problem i see with this is not everyone will know it exists for a while. You know how know one ever seems to know what is and how to use /resign. Then again if its very easy to notice...

This is a very good idea. They use a very similar thing in call of duty competitive matches and it works wonders.

But instead of a check-mark next to your name, it should be Rurik standing there. He has a thumbs down when someone isn't ready and a thumbs up when they are! Oh, and you should obviously be able to change your "Ready" status to "Not Ready", just for those who change their mind.
