Has anybody ever tried the strategy of killing only the Star enemy mobs in Nahpui Quater while running past the 4 essence bosses, then coming back to kill the 4 bosses in a row?

This may be a total waste of time trying it but I was wondering if it would work.

Really it may be faster because the battles would be smaller at each mob area. Then after killing the first boss you would have to just kill a small handful of mini essences on your way to the next boss.

Any opinions out there?

I"m not trying to bash your strategy, but I don't see what the big deal is. The place isn't that hard at all, just don't pull 200 mobs at once and its fine. Hell, I henched this mission, and then later went back to it to get the expert title with a group of morons.

I should have figured I would get a post like this.

If you read it I didn't say anything about it being to hard for me at all . I have henched it too.

I simply was asking if anybody has tried it and if it made it easier than it already was. I was simply looking for another strategy out of interest not dismay.

I tried this at parts, and going back through the essences was jsut a pain in the ass that took longer than it would seem. I would just go straight through it.

I tried it that way (kill all groups then go back for bosses) was pretty simple, problem is that it takes way too long... You should easily get expert if you race through killing bosses and minimum of groups, the first way took nearly twice and long (I used and SS/Shiv necro with henchies).

The first time I did it, the group I was in just killed everything as it came up, including the bosses. It took 59:24! The second time, in a different group, we killed everything except the bosses and then went back and got them. It took 34:00. (I GOTTA find better PUGs!)

I got master rewards (yes, many times from 3 different chars) by going with Kirin > Turtle > Dragon > Phoenix. Killing everything along the way without skipping any bosses.

However, many groups I was in when I was there for farming wanted to go in the reverse of that order. They say it's easier. But....8/10 of them failed, miserably.

What's the deal? Why everyone is so determined to believe that starting with Phoenix is easier? Am I missing something?

I start by the kirin, left portal. then I clear all the way to the phoenix. When I have cleared all the stars i run back to the kirin and starts by killing him, because he has the easiest essences.

i went in right hand portal and found completing this at master pretty easy (MM 4tw lol) But to the starter post you could do what you mentioned but would take way to long to be worth while
