Healing and Zealot's Fire

I've been looking around at making a 55 monk, and doing a bit of reading on what to do in the mean time. I've come by a fun looking healing build, it used a bunch of single healing spells, and heal party. Along with Zealot's Fire to deal damage every time he heals someone. Would the Heal Party still deal damage even though it's not targeting a single "Ally"?

It seems to good to be true, but i figure i'd as around before i try it tonight. See if anyone has any advise on using ZF as well.

Just like divine favor doesnt affect all allies healed with heal party zealots fire wont.
